Graduated from Bunka Fashion College majoring in apparel design Miwa Goto　made her debut as a successful designer in 2000. Her uniform design for cheer leader uniform design contest gained recognition of Issey Miyake at　the opening reception of ISSEY MIYAKE MAKING THINGS Exhibition held at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in 2000. Her unique creativity for clothing　reflects upon her illustrations and creates special three-dimensional artwork. Miwa’s work decorated the show windows of Barneys New York stores in Shinjuku and Yokohama. Her recent involvement as a participating　artist in a group exhibition at a New York gallery shows her potential talent in the future.
