
ILLUSTRATOR
Symbolon started his career as an illustrator in 2000, when he was studying in London away from Tokyo. His illustration features fantastic female figures with delicate lines basically in monotone colors. Having moved his base in Tokyo in 2004, he has been contributing his work to women’s magazines and advertisements. His overseas activities include Macy’s advertising visual and animation for Dolby Laboratories. After immersing himself in a vibrant London life for one year, Japanese illustrator Symbolon launched his career in 2000. He returned to Tokyo in 2004 and continued working to develop his fantastic and sexy “shadow-graphic” style. He not only creates images for the fashion industry but also makes new media animations.
