Leah Singer from NY is having an exhibition at the Chelsea Art Museum.

Hjärta Smärta, Swedish artist duo who just joined us last fall, completed their first assignment in Japan for the March 15 issue of Magazine “Pen.”

The artist who has been regularly creating the animation since 2007 for the top page of “Web Channel” which is Marui’s online shopping, is our Monsieur Z.

Our artist, Anja Korencke, has been the contributor to the “Thanks Cards” of Mitsukoshi Dept. Store, which are sent out to their customers to express gratitude. 2009 spring cards are available now.

Anja has been involved in creating promotional visual for Asahikasei’s “Bemberg” lining material, focusing on the European market since fall 2008.

Although not all of the 20 artists participated in were able to make it to Zurich, we were able to get together the other day in one gallery in Tokyo, 2 months after the Zurich exhibition, by showing the video footage of the artworks exhibited in the Zurich site.

Our report on the ILLUSTRATIVE ZURICH, which was the biggest European illustration festival held in October and in which we participated, is featured on the “exhibition/media/ latest information” page of Illustration Magazine Issue No. 175.

December 1st was “World Aids Day.” To commemorate this day, Chie contributed her illustration to the charity screen saver for JOICFP Save Mother from AIDS. 30 yen per 1 installation will be contributed to the activities of SAVE MOTHER from AIDS.

The 2008 Winter Thanks Card given to customers who purchase merchandise at Mitsukosh Dept. Store, are ready. Anja Kroencke contributed her artw3ork to the visual image of the card.

VOGUE NIPPON launches a special promotion “Winter Style to welcome Christmas” in its January issue (available on Nov. 28) every year. This year, our Anja Kroencke was assigned to work on this promotion.
