“Female Creators Exposition: Declaration of New Professionals”
Japanese Trend-setting Female Creators Exhibition

This exhibition was held at “The 8th Gallery” of Meguro CLASKA, from January 27 (Thursday) through January 30 (Sunday) 2011 and it was the project that we organized everything from planning to curation.

In the age in which everybody takes photos or draws pictures, we put together 38 emerging female illustrators and photographers who seek for the real thing and make efforts to create the trend by showing their works as many as possible in this exhibition. We asked “What Does Professional Mean?” by interactions among such creators and their lifestyles. We arranged the exhibition so that the viewers could feel the air of this age as well as the creative trends in the near future, hoping interchanging illustrations and photographs might generate a new creative interchange of the most updated Japanese trends.
