Asako Masunouchi

Biography

慶應義塾大学哲学科卒業。大学在学中に通い始めたセツ・モードセミナー基礎科を修了後渡英し、University of Brightonイラストレーション科を卒業。2005年よりフリーランスのイラストレーターとして雑誌、書籍を中心に日本、イギリス、フランス、ギリシャと国を問わず活動中。2009年よりギリシャへと拠点を移す。ほぼ日の「Greetings from Greece」にて、エッセイとイラストを連載している。

With her background in Philosophy from Keio University and training from Setsu Mode Seminar, Asako honed her skills from the Illustration Department at the University of Brighton in the U.K. Since 2005, her works as a freelance illustrator contributed to magazines and books in Japan, the U.K., France, and Greece. Embracing a new chapter in her life, she relocated to Greece in 2009, where she now shares her series of essays and illustrations titled “Greetings from Greece” on “Hobo-nichi (Almost Daily)”.
