彼⼥が作り出す空間は、VR(Virtual Reality、仮想空間)の世界にも通じています。

Elena G. Bansh is an Italian visual artist based in London and has lived and worked in Japan and Korea.
Her work is fantastic and surreal. The inspiration for her work comes from her own daily life and her previous travels around the world. For example, she is inspired by the natural world and the sense of unapproachability and mystery she feels when confronted with nature.
She also wrote a thesis titled “Out of the Shell” while studying at the Royal College of Art. A short movie based on it was subsequently created and won the silver medal in the animation category of Annual 2022, one of the most important art competitions in Italy, organized by autoridimmagini.
For her, the other is embodied in all animals other than humans, especially marine life (fish), which can be said to be avatars of us humans. The space she creates can also be understood as the world of VR (Virtual Reality).
