8コマのじゃばら式絵本を広げると16店舗のマーケット広場になり、 広場内側には露店も並べられます。 絵本を収めるホルダー内には、ダイカットされた様々な人たちや ショップ内の商品オブジェクトのミニカードが内包されています。 お店の前に人物を好きなように並べて、 自分だけのオリジナルなブロードウェイ・マーケットシーンを楽しめます。 ミニカードに描かれたものを絵本の中から見つけて、 なんとミニカードで神経衰弱ゲームにも！ When you unfold the eight-frame picture book, it becomes a 16-store market square, with stalls lining the inside of the square. Inside the holder, there are die-cut miniature cards of people from various ethnicities, ages and genders as well as product objects in the stores. You can arrange the people in front of the store in any way you like to create your own original Broadway market scene. You can find the objects depicted on the mini-cards in the picture book, and what's more, the mini-cards can be used for a memory game! |

The fun of the interactive game is accelerated by the delicate and beautiful artwork of artist Natsko Seki. The picture book is made of recycled paper and vegetable ink, which shows the love for the earth. |

マーケットを少し覗いてみましょう。 入り口には色とりどりの花屋が目につきます。 中に進むと、様々な国の郷土料理の香ばしい 香りがしてきます。中東のコロッケ・ファラフェル、 ポーランドのソーセージとビール、ジャマイカの ジャークチキン等など。お墨付きはパン屋に並ぶ サワードウブレッド ! 作家自身のお気に入りだそうです。 フードショップ以外でも色鮮やで繊細な模様が 施された民族衣裳。ドレッドヘアやアフリカンスタイルの ブラックヘア専門の美容室も。 さらに、「はらぺこあおむし」など世界各国の 有名な絵本や著書が揃った書店もあります。 他にも様々な動物たちがいるペットショップや、 仕立て屋さん、見てるだけでワクワクする おもちゃ屋さん、お酒と音楽を楽しめる ロンドンパブなどと多彩。 Let's take a look at the market. At the entrance, you will see a colorful flower shop. As you walk in, you can smell the savory aromas of local cuisine from various countries. There are falafels from the Middle East, sausages and beer from Poland, jerk chicken from Jamaica and the sourdough bread in the bakery which the Seki’s favorite one! Outside of the food stores, there are also ethnic costumes with bright colors and delicate patterns. There is also a hair salon specializing in dreadlocks and African-style black hair. There is also a bookstore with famous picture books and books from around the world, including The Very Hungry Caterpillar. There is also a pet shop with a variety of animals, a tailor shop, a toy shop, and a London pub where you can enjoy drinks and music. |
